As time goes on and designers pass on the baton to the next heir to the sketchbook every fashion house goes through a serious change. Although there are hints and nods to the old YSL the collections are sprinting away from the true YSL style. I cant say that I hate it but I feel that the punk style may be pushing the boundaries a bit too far.
Saint Laurent is a more classic house, the punk/rocker style may have been fun for a collection seeing as how many other designers participated in supporting this trend, however I think its time to go back to the basics.
